1:1 Private Training

Private Coaching Built Around the Player

The Youth Baseball offers private baseball training focused on hitting, fielding, and first base development.

Sessions are personalized based on each player’s age, skill level, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Whether a player is newer to the game or already competing, the goal is simple: improve their skills, build confidence, and help them become a better ballplayer.

What Baseball Training Means

Baseball development is not just about taking more swings or fielding more ground balls. The reps need to be done with purpose.

Training focuses on building proper mechanics, better habits, stronger fundamentals, and more confidence on the field. Each session is adjusted to the player, instead of forcing every athlete through the exact same drills.

The main areas offered are:

  1. Hitting — swing mechanics, contact, power, approach, and confidence at the plate.
  2. Fielding — glove work, footwork, throwing, reactions, and defensive consistency.
  3. First Base — footwork around the bag, picks, stretches, positioning, and first base IQ.

Players can focus on one area or combine multiple areas depending on what they need most.

Training Options

Hitting Training

Hitting Training

Hitting sessions are built around improving the player’s swing, timing, approach, and confidence at the plate.

Training may include:

  • Tee work
  • Front toss / soft toss
  • Pitching machine work
  • Swing breakdowns
  • Contact and power development
  • Strike-zone awareness
  • Mechanical adjustments based on the player’s swing

The goal is to help players make better contact, hit the ball harder, improve consistency, and understand their swing more clearly.

Fielding & Defence Training

Fielding & Defence Training

Fielding sessions focus on building cleaner defensive fundamentals and more confidence in game situations.

Training may include:

  • Ground balls
  • Footwork
  • Glove work
  • Throwing mechanics
  • Short hops
  • Fly balls and pop-ups
  • Defensive positioning
  • Game-like reps

The goal is to reduce errors, improve reactions, build better movement, and help players become more reliable defenders.

First Base Training

First base is its own position and requires more than simply catching the ball.

First base training may include:

  • Footwork around the bag
  • Stretch mechanics
  • Picks and scoops
  • Holding runners
  • Pick-off awareness
  • Bunts
  • Cut-offs
  • Positioning
  • Game awareness

The goal is to help players become more confident, more reliable, and more effective around first base.

If there are specific areas you want the training to focus on, those can be discussed before booking.
