1:1 Private Training

Who am I?

I play u18 travel (elite) baseball, and have been playing baseball since as long as I can remember, I can play almost anywhere on the field but I’m best at first base.

I’ve been coached at a high level for over 9 years, over those years I’ve accumulated the skills and knowledge that have made me consistently hit with an average of .350 to .450+. I’ve gone on a journey to becoming one of the top hitters in my league, year after year, and I’m here to share the secrets.

I’m involved in all sorts of youth baseball training and I’ve coached dozens of young athletes to this day. I’m the founder of The Youth Baseball and www.TheYouthBaseball.com.

What do you mean by baseball training?

After over a decade playing the game, and achieving plenty of milestones, personal achievements, and improving a ton, if only one thing, I can conclude that, in the end, there are two people in the game of baseball, those who work hard, and those who lose.

That’s why I’m presenting the following proverb, the biggest lesson in baseball (or any sport for that matter) is that, in any endeavour you may wish to participate in, hard work determines your success; hard work is the path to living a life worth living.

That’s what sports teach you; everything you see around you is deliberate: that guy that 220 pounds of pure muscle? Guess what. It wasn’t an accident, he worked out deliberately, with intention, with discipline to get to where he is. Same with that millionaire, same with that MLB player, and so on.

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

That’s my favourite proverb. It’s the beauty of life: you control your outcomes, if you put in the work, life will reward you, you will achieve your goals if you wake up every morning and put in your reps, go for that run, etc… you can be outmatched and outwork your competition and win.

So, enough of that, time to cut to the chase. What do I mean by baseball training? What I will train your aspiring ball player (any age), is up to you: your kid, your choice. But, to be clear, I have my own specialities and strengths the same way I have my own weaknesses when it comes to baseball. That’s why I’m offering these specific training program options:

            1. Batting technique & swing optimization.     –   Power and contact.
            2. General fielding technique and practice.    –   Performance & baseball IQ.
            3. Specialized first baseman training.              –   Performance, taking charge & baseball IQ

In order to be able to push your child towards his/her utmost potential, I will only offer to train him/her in the aspects of baseball I know the best, and have personal experience with to ensure your child is only getting the best I have to offer.

To justify the side note I started off with, no matter which option you choose (or options), your child will be trained and will learn the ever so important lesson that hard work is the only way to accomplish things, the only way to live a fulfilling life. The underlying goal of the training of your child is not only his/her development, improvement of his/her baseball skills, but most importantly, making out of them a disciplined individual and turning him/her into a hard worker, which can transfer into any realm of life to his/her immense benefit.

A a last note to end this section off, since I have 9+ years of experience being taught at a high-level (and counting), you have access, for your child, to higher level (and for an older age group) coaching through myself, to be relayed to your child, for his/her entire benefit. My training may not be the right choice for you or your child, but if it is, there is a lot in it for your child. Unlike most coaches, I still play the game today; the game has changed A LOT over the last 40 years. Does it seem that I am claiming I’m in a better position to train your child than experienced coaches? Maybe you think older coaches have more experience than me? More knowledge? Know how to train better? Almost certainly. They do. But that’s why the offer is so valuable, I’m still getting the coaching from high level coaches with vast knowledge of the game, they know more than me, but they teach me, they train me, and I still play the game, I have recent (and current) personal experience. I offer the best of both worlds: high level coaching transmitted through myself and 1 on 1 training with someone who still plays the game and have personal experience excelling at the sport. Not to mention, I will train your child for a fraction of the price you’ll find anywhere else.

To give you an idea of how my prices compare to typical baseball trainers (where prices go upwards of 80$ an hour, I’ve even seen around 140$ for an hour), I have much lower costs than the typical trainer does, that’s why I can cut my prices which will typically sit in the range of 40$-60$ per hour. Half to a third or less of the price. But mind you, I literally want you to look at this deal, and say “NO.” if there’s anything you don’t like, or disagree with. I’m encouraging you to say “NO.” to me if your child isn’t committed. This is entirely up to you. But, if you like what you’ve seen, if your child is committed and loves the game, I offer to you my time and knowledge in the curious endeavour that is baseball. Your ball player’s success is waiting. Send me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
